Church Links

St Bartholomew's Primary Academy is fortunate to have a wonderfully strong link with St Bartholomew's Church. Children visit the church for all the key festivals of the Christian calendar to share celebration and worship with their families and the local community.

Our pupils value regular visits from Reverend Jane and Reverend Katey who are familiar faces in school for Collective Worship and other opportunities too.

The school receives a visit from the Open The Book team weekly too; they share Bible stories through Collective Worship in a child friendly way - always with some audience participation!

Greetings from Reverend Canon Jane Curtis and Reverend Katey Minshall,

of St Bartholomew and All Saints’ Church

We are delighted to be so closely linked with St Bartholomew’s Primary Academy, getting involved in various ways.

We always enjoy welcoming pupils, staff, parents and carers to St Bart’s church whether for special services or class visits. In turn we love to come into school to lead Collective Worship and occasionally help out in class. Reverend Jane is also a member of the Local Governing Board.

We hold the school, its community and activities in our prayers and we help where we can.
