September Reception (EYFS) Admissions

The school has been serving the parish and people of Wootton Bassett for over 150 years. Applications are welcomed for all children who live within the parish. The governors wish to welcome all children to our school which has a Christian ethos, irrespective of sex, religion, ethnicity or country of origin, disability or academic ability and whose parents are in sympathy with the aims of a Church school.

The school year runs from September to July, and new pupils begin in the September before their fifth birthday.

The school has close links with the local pre-schools and nurseries. Our Early Years staff work closely with all the local pre-schools particularly during the summer term before children are due to start school. An induction programme takes place in the summer term to aid the smooth transfer from pre-school to school.  Further details will be sent following your child's acceptance.

In-Year Admissions

Applications for in-year admission may be submitted at any time during the school year.

The School is part of the Local Authority’s in-year co-ordination scheme. Any person wishing to apply for a place at the School in-year, will need to apply via Local Authority's online portal using the link at the top of this page. Please speak to the school office if you have any questions.

The Local Authority will liaise with the School on receipt of any in-year application, so that it may be processed in accordance with the School’s admission arrangements.
