Online Safefty

In today’s digital world, children and young people are growing up surrounded by technology.

The internet, online games, social media and digital learning tools offer exciting opportunities to learn, connect and create, but they also bring risks that we must all understand and manage carefully.

At our school,  online safety (e‑safety) is a vital part of safeguarding. We are committed to teaching pupils how to use technology responsibly, respectfully and safely, both in school and beyond. Through our curriculum and daily practice, we help children develop the knowledge and confidence they need to recognise potential risks, protect their personal information, and know where to seek help if something doesn’t feel right.

We believe that keeping children safe online is a shared responsibility. By working closely with parents and carers, providing clear guidance, and promoting open conversations about online behaviour, we aim to create a culture where children feel supported and empowered to make safe choices in an increasingly connected world. This page has a series of helpful resources to foster open discussions at home about healthy online habits.
