Year 5 and 6 are so excited to have started their very own Book Club! The spooky children's horror, Room 13 by Robert Swindell, follows the journey of Fliss who encounters a sinister disappearing room whilst on a school trip to The Crow's Nest Hotel. We are looking forward to future Friday lunchtimes where we will discuss the book and make predictions about the text. Week two and the children are already hooked! #stbartsway #soar

In order to increase the biodiversity of our school grounds and to add a natural area to the playground, we planted up our very own Living Wall on Friday. Year 5 took the lead during their Forest School session and planted the majority of the wall. Once again, some fantastically creative entries to this years FOBs Easter competition. Prizes, as judged by Mr Godwin, our ex-caretaker, were awarded in collective worship today. In addition, everyone who entered will be rewarded with a chocolate lolly which will be handed out by class teachers at the end of the day.
