It was a lovely afternoon for the first cluster sports event of the year. We had two teams take part on the Tag Rugby event at rwbrfc and a fantastic example of sportsmanship from everyone #soar #stbartsway

EYFS are loving our new Drawing Club sessions. After reading Giraffes Can't Dance, today we drew something that would cheer Gerald up! We had so many creative ideas. We even had a go at writing a new sound we have learnt this week. #stbartsway #soar

As part of our oracy skills lessons today, in English Year 4 had the opportunity to interview Royal Wootton Bassett's town mayor councillor Holness - otherwise known as our own class TA Mrs Holness. The children had great fun practising their interviewing skills and learning more about life as a Mayor. #stbartsway #soar

To celebrate the European Day of Languages this year, we were delighted to welcome students from rwbacademy who delivered exciting Modern Foreign Language sessions for our KS2 children. The children had great fun learning Spanish, German, Polish and French developing their language skills and exploring different cultures from across Europe #soar #stbartsway

One of our inquisitive Year 3 children is very interested in big numbers. She wondered how big the number would be if we counted up the fingers and toes of all the children and grown ups in our school. Good question we thought! See the photo for the calculation. These have been shared with the children and as you may have noticed, can be found at the front of their reading journals. How many roads will your child complete this academic year!
