  • Who is the woman? How does she feel?
  • Where has she been and where is she going?
  • What might she be thinking at this moment?
  • Where does the ladder lead? Who put it there?
  • Is this the end of her journey or the beginning?

  • What is the creature called? Describe the creature.
  • What is the creature doing?

  • Has the creature been asked to pull the boat in this way?
  • Where is it taking the boat?
  • Why is it acting in this way?

  • List the animals you can see.
  • What has happened here?
  • Why is the boat sinking?
  • Why were the animals (and the man) on the boat in the first place?
