Cross Country

Congratulations to our Cross Country Team who were awarded their medals for competing against seven other schools in our cluster in the Cross Country Competition at Bradon Forest. Sixteen St Bart’s pupils from Years 3 to 6 took part; Years 3/4 came 3rd and Years 5/6 came 4th. Our runners showed grit and determination in the race as they ran a long distance in very difficult conditions, including driving rain. Some of the children described the course as like “running through a bog”. Mrs Marchment, who watched the race, said she was “immensely proud of our team for giving every last ounce of energy to the race”. This is a fantastic achievement and one you can be very proud of. Well done to you all!
